MacArtney at ANTX Coastal Trident 2026

MacArtney is pleased to participate in ANTX Coastal Trident 2026, a leading naval technology exercise and experimentation programme focused on port security, maritime operations and the advancement of emerging technologies. Conducted in collaboration with the United States Navy and a wide range of government, industry and academic stakeholders, Coastal Trident provides a unique environment for demonstrating innovative solutions that address real operational challenges.

This year, MacArtney will conduct a live demonstration of the DOMUS platform, showcasing how modular subsea technologies can support maritime security, critical infrastructure protection and naval seabed surveillance.

Demonstrating DOMUS in a real operational environment

Unlike traditional exhibitions, Coastal Trident combines technology demonstrations, field experiments and operational exercises. This hands on approach enables participants to evaluate emerging capabilities in realistic scenarios and provides valuable insight into how new technologies can enhance naval operations and maritime security.

Through a live demonstration, MacArtney will showcase the adaptability and performance of DOMUS in an operational setting. The demonstration will highlight how the platform can support seabed surveillance and infrastructure monitoring through flexible sensor integration, robust connectivity and reliable real time data delivery.

Protecting critical underwater infrastructure

As global reliance on subsea infrastructure continues to grow, the need for effective monitoring and protection has never been greater. From communication cables to energy assets and strategic maritime installations, critical underwater infrastructure requires continuous awareness and rapid threat detection.

DOMUS has been developed to address these challenges through a modular approach that combines connectivity, data acquisition and third party sensor integration into a scalable monitoring solution. The platform enables operators to establish tailored surveillance systems designed around specific mission requirements and operational environments.

Enhancing maritime security through real time awareness

For naval organisations and maritime security agencies, access to timely and reliable information is essential. DOMUS provides a dependable foundation for underwater monitoring by supporting high bandwidth communication, real time analysis and efficient data exchange between multiple stakeholders.

Its flexible architecture allows users to integrate a wide range of instrumentation packages, helping create layered surveillance capabilities that improve situational awareness and support informed decision making in complex maritime environments.

Supporting collaboration between industry and end users

A core objective of Coastal Trident is to accelerate the development and implementation of technologies that address operational needs within the naval community. The programme brings together technology providers and end users to explore new concepts, validate capabilities and strengthen partnerships across the maritime domain.

MacArtney values these opportunities to collaborate directly with defence organisations, government agencies and industry partners. By demonstrating DOMUS in a live environment, we can gather valuable operational feedback while showcasing how modular underwater technologies can contribute to future maritime security initiatives.

See DOMUS in action

We invite participants to experience the MacArtney DOMUS platform during the live demonstration at ANTX Coastal Trident 2026. Whether the focus is critical infrastructure protection, maritime domain awareness or next generation seabed surveillance, DOMUS provides a flexible and scalable framework for building effective underwater monitoring solutions.

Together with customers, partners and end users, MacArtney continues to develop technologies that strengthen security, improve situational awareness and support the evolving needs of naval operations.
