This year’s edition brings together insights from across our global operations, perspectives from long-standing colleagues, and a look at how we are embedding sustainability and integrity into the way we work, from environmental efforts to social responsibility and governance.
Our efforts are not defined by one project but by a shared commitment across teams and regions. In practice, this looks like:
🌱 Underwater Technology – social responsibility with long-term impact
Our Singapore team joined a local tree-planting initiative to restore green spaces and strengthen biodiversity. Beyond the environmental benefit, the activity brought colleagues and community partners together and supported a healthier, more climate-resilient urban area. These small, practical contributions build long-term value where we live and work and connect our technical mission with broader responsibilities.
🕰️ Hydraulics – a culture that retains people
At MacArtney Hydraulics, long-time colleagues remain the rule rather than the exception. Several milestone anniversaries were celebrated during 2024-2025, reflecting a culture built on trust, respect and strong day-to-day collaboration. This stability supports both quality and continuity and reflects our Group’s ambition of long-term relationships and low employee turnover.
♻️ Offshore Solutions – extending equipment lifespan
In our Offshore Solutions activities, refurbishment plays a key role in minimising the risk of operational downtime and safety issues at the installation site. By renovating and upgrading existing winches – mechanically, electrically and structurally – we extend equipment life and reduce the need for new production. This approach allows the equipment to be reused rather than discarded.
These examples are part of a broader effort to integrate responsibility into every corner of MacArtney and to contribute positively to the industries and communities we are part of.
