The Position
This is a newly created role, and we are looking for an engaged and technically strong colleague with experience in product management and tendering. You will become part of a skilled and dedicated Product Management team that acts as the crucial link between Sales and Engineering. Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for developing new connectors and connectivity solutions, including specifying new connector series and ensuring deep technical knowledge of the products. You will maintain expertise in relevant applications and standards while being an integral part of the global connectivity team. Additionally, you will provide technical concepts and solutions, as well as cost calculations, to support projects and customer requirements.

The position also includes the following tasks:

• Translate industry requirements, specifications, and approvals (e.g., MIL-SPEC, API, DNV, ABS, IEC, IEEE) into robust connector designs suitable for harsh marine & Subsea environments/applications
• Design and development of MacArtney subsea connectors & solutions, including inline, bulkhead, and penetrator types, with a focus on SubConn® and TrustLink™ product lines.
• Collaborating with customers/distributors/subsidiaries with product queries/quotes – defining scope of work
• Participate in product lifecycle activities including prototyping, testing, certification, and continuous improvement.
• Standardization of products
• Internal technical sales support for sales staff and global operations
• Provide technical training for global colleagues.

Your Background

• You are an Electrical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer
• Experience in product management
• 5–7 years of practical experience in a similar position, preferably in an international company
• Solid understanding of the complexity of technical products
• Ability to maintain and develop customer relationships in an international context
• Solution-oriented with strong business acumen
• Proficient in Danish and English at a high level, both written and spoken
