Full traceability

Traceability in the production

Traceability is a feature your whole system must be set up for. Many industries require a company to supply parts with traceability. For example, if a product needs DNV certification for Marine or Offshore applications.

Achieving full traceability entails three steps

  • Your design must be well documented and approved by a third party
  • You must supply all materials, including raw materials, used in the product with certificates validating the delivery
  • Testing and verification

All documentation for such production necessitates strict adherence to procedures and high standards. It takes years to set up, but it adds to customer reliability once you implement all three steps.
