MacArtney Denmark seeks: System Sales Manager

MacArtney A/S is constantly evolving in a number of our market segments - Ocean Science, Oil and Gas, the renewable energy sector and the military market - and we are very busy offering system solutions as well as infrastructure components for these markets. In this context, we are looking for a new, committed employee with a good technical and/or research background. Experience in technical sales is also welcome. We imagine a person who has a background as either a civil engineer, experience in selling electronic measuring instruments or a background in Oceanography, Marine Science, Marine Biology, Hydrography or any other related areas.

When it comes to the Sales Manager for our Rest of the World Department, we are looking for a System Sales Manager to fill an exciting and versatile position. Work duties are primarily in the field of offers and sales, including technical support of our products and systems mainly to foreign companies and authorities, either directly or through our extensive network of subsidiaries around the world.

These duties are broad in scope and include:

  • Travel in connection with enquiries, follow-up as well as technical and commercial clarifications with the customer 
  • Preparation of draft solutions and offers
  • Cost calculation and budgets
  • Procuring offers in cooperation with our Purchasing Department
  • Calculations
  • Quality assurance and sales-related documentation
  • Contact with customers as well as possible authorities
