MacArtney Denmark seeks: Shipping Supervisor (Inbound)

We are looking for a candidate who has extensive experience working with proper customs clearance of incoming goods for a position in an exciting and international business, where you get the opportunity to challenge the current setup. You will ensure that correct documentation is available for customs clearance, and you will contribute to correct classification and input regarding rules of origin.
You will be part of a Shipping/Store team comprising 8 very competent colleagues. The working environment is busy and informal, characterised by the delivery of products and solutions at a high technical level for customers worldwide. You will report to our Distribution Manager.
Your overall responsibilities will be ensuring that incoming shipments are cleared through customs on time and that the correct use of inward processing procedures and various regulations are met. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate customs calculations documentation. You will contribute to strengthening the already excellent cooperation with our warehouse.
You have the skills and drive to find new opportunities for savings in the customs area.
Areas of responsibility will also include:
- Participating in Intrastat reporting
- Planning and handling of the daily shipment inbound/outbound
- Follow-up on shipments from suppliers
- Ensuring good collaboration with warehousing, sales and other departments at MacArtney
- Handling inspection visits from SKAT and document upon request
- Participating in the maintenance of various permits via the Danish Customs (Toldstyrelsen)
- Responsible for customs clearance in collaboration with the other colleagues in Shipping

You have a background profile that includes:
- 5 years of experience from the forwarding business or the Danish Customs (Toldstyrelsen)
- Experience with handling shipments on all kinds of transport and Incoterms
- Advantageous experience from a similar position
- Knowledge of bonded warehouse
- Solution-oriented approach and thorough business understanding
- Experience working with Excel
- Strong administrative profile
- Danish and English at a high level, both written and spoken
