SubConn receives ISO certification

Underwater systems depend on every piece of equipment functioning properly and users need to know that their system will work before deployment. Buying components from companies with certified production ensures predetermined standards of production quality and uniformity. ISO certification is an important proof for quality in some markets and in some cases it is a requirement.

SubConn Inc, leading manufacturer of underwater connectors, recently documented their production and supply quality by becoming officially ISO 9001:2008 certified. Though quality controls have been in place for many years, the certification by external auditor Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc is the first official quality system certificate for SubConn Inc.

“It is important for our customers that we can now document our complete control over the entire production and supply process. External ISO certification is a confirmation of our existing quality control system and we are pleased to have achieved the ISO 9001:2008,” explained Niels Erik Hedeager CEO for MacArtney Underwater Technology, co-owner of SubConn Inc.

More information and the ISO certificate can be seen on their website www.subconn.com
