LARS Systems

MacArtney A/S currently supplies several standard launch and recovery systems (LARS) from a 2 ton SWL for medium sized observation vehicles and up to a 12 ton SWL system for "work class" vehicles. All systems use standard ROV winches and the winch power pack is also used to power the "A" frame.

A number of docking mechanisms and turntable designs are available depending on the type of vehicle used. The winch and "A" frame are mounted on a single skid. The complete systems are built according to DnV lift appliance regulations.
