Radiometer

Ramses-ACC
The RAMSES-ACC forms part of a family of hyperspectral UV radiance & irradiance sensors. The RAMSES-ACC sensors are stand-alone highly integrated hyperspectral radiometers for both the UV and/or VIS spectral range. Small size and very low power consumption makes it suitable for hand-held and autonomous applications.

The detectors are a ”channel silicon photo-diode array” type with 190 usable channels (3,3 nm/pixel) for the RAMSES-ACC-VIS, designed for the spectral range from 320 to 950 nm and 100 usable channels (2,2 nm/pixel) for the RAMSES-ACC-UV, designed for the spectral range from 280 to 500 nm (UVA/UVB).

Ramses-ARC
The RAMSES-ARC is a hyperspectral UV-VIS radiance sensor designed for the 320 to 950 nm spectral range. The RAMSES radiance sensor can be used both as a stand-alone radiometer and in combination with the RAMSES irradiance sensors.
The RAMSES-ARC has a 7° field of view as opposed to the RAMSES-ACC types which have a cosine response collector.
The RAMSES radiometers can be used in various applications;Water quality measurements, marine & lacustrine biology, photosynthesis measurements, climatology, satellite data validation and not at least for ocean colour measurements.

The sensors are delivered with an easy-to-use graphical software package for measurement, data display and storage. The RAMSES family of products also include the RAMSES-FieldSet, a complete ”tool-box” comprising all needed components for field measurements incl. a robust industrial hand-held PC (PSION Workabout-MX) with the MSDA_MX software package. The MSDA_MX software is compatible with the software running on the desktop PCs (MSDA_XE) and data can easily be transferred using the MX-docking station.
