ROV and Trencher Umbilicals

As ROV systems get larger, more powerful and operate in deeper waters the demand on the cable system becomes a critical issue. Fibre optic, high voltage umbilicals are now common place and we supply standard and special designs to this market. These include steel armoured lift umbilicals and aramide reinforced tether cables.

Also part of our program are neutrally buoyant tethers for Tether Management Systems and smaller ROV systems. We have also designed and built special cables for long excursion (tunnel inspection) up to 6.000 meters. All terminations and testing can be carried out in house or on site. Lift umbilical winches, launch and recovery systems, slip rings (high power, signal and optical), system integration and certification are also part of our program.
