Marine Geophysical Cables

Modern seismic vessels today tow an impressive array of streamers and airgun arrays. We concentrate on the supply of terminated or unterminated airgun and streamer lead in cables. Digital streamers are now common place and with the increase in the number of channels fibre optics are now almost a necessity.

The excursion required to place the airguns and the streamers in the correct position behind the vessel requires large forces which are transferred to the tow cables. We also supply "mid span hangers" for attaching floats and depressors together with bend restrictors to the cables to reduce damage.
