Quality Policy
Quality targets are achieved through the company's certified quality control system, other operating systems, employee competence, technical know-how and experience combined with the company's proficiency in taking full advantage of these resources.
The company's most important resource is its employees. Process quality is achieved primarily through dedication, education and training as well as through the motivation of employees whose qualifications are kept apace and developed.
This, amongst other things, means:
That MacArtney through document control ensures that such are controlled through checks and approval prior to employment, distribution, use and change, as well as ensuring that documents remain readable, easy to identify and locate, and that invalid documents are prevented from being used unintentionally.
That MacArtney through registration control documents that requirements are adhered to and the quality control system is used effectively. The necessary control activities ensure the identification, legibility, storage, protection, relocation, storage time and disposal of registrations.
That MacArtney through its focus on customers ensures that their needs and expectations are identified, converted into requirements and their realisation assured in order to achieve customer satisfaction.
That MacArtney through planning ensures that quantifiable quality objectives are established for all relevant functions and levels in accordance with the quality policy, including a commitment to continue improving and attain the goals necessary to fulfil the product requirements.
That MacArtney through quality planning ensures that planning encompasses the processes in the applied quality control system, the resources necessary for the fulfilment of the requirements in the standard's point 4.1. and the continuing improvement of the system. Furthermore, planning will ensure that changes are carried out in a controlled manner and that the quality control system functions efficiently during these changes.

is altogether sufficient with regard to amongst other things the quality control processes and their efficiency.

That MacArtney through customer satisfaction surveys gathers relevant information, verifying whether the purchased product fulfilled the customers expectations, and has been used to the design criteria.
That MacArtney through development and construction ensures that defined activities are planned and controlled. To ensure the ability to fulfil requirements the result is examined. Furthermore development and construction results are verified to ensure that these meet the defined standards and needs. Changes are controlled and encompass an evaluation of the effect these changes have on the existing parts and delivered products as well as being verified and validated in to an appropriate extent, and are approved before introduction.
That MacArtney through purchasing ensures that processes are controlled so that the product purchased meets the requirements. The supplier is evaluated and chosen on the basis of their ability to deliver the product in accordance to the specified requirements. Choices are made according to set criteria and periodical evaluations of suppliers are carried out.
That MacArtney through production, installation and service ensures that these activities are planned and controlled. The processes are carried out in accordance with the correct method, with the correct equipment and by qualified personnel. Where this is not possible to verify the resulting product through monitoring and measuring the processes concerning a product or service are validated to demonstrate the ability to achieve the planned results.
That MacArtney through identification and traceability ensures that system parts are labelled so that they can be identified and if required in the contract or by authorities, are traceable.
That MacArtney through customer property provided for use or for encompassing within the product, ensures that this is identified, verified, protected and maintained. If the customer's property becomes lost, damaged or in any other way is unsuitable for use, the customer shall be informed.
That MacArtney through product preservation ensures that the agreement of the product with the customer's requirement is maintained. These preservation activities encompass identification, handling, packaging, storing and protection, and are also applicable to product parts.
That MacArtney through control of monitoring and measuring equipment ensures that equipment is protected during handling and maintenance, and is stored as well as calibrated regularly, where possible and relevant, so that measuring - performed by qualified personnel- is in accordance with the specified requirements.
