Underwater Lights
ROS offers a complete family of rugged underwater lights for oceanographic, military, and nuclear applications. Our underwater lights have been field proven in the harshest environments for over 30 years.

We offer underwater lights depth rated to 6,000 meters, lights for wet/dry applications, submersible lights with interchangeable reflectors for increased versatility, lights equipped with special underwater pluggable connectors, and lights developed specifically to meet the challenging requirements of the nuclear power industry.

The QL-3000 underwater ROV floodlight revolutionized the underwater lighting industry over 30 years ago and continues to be our most popular underwater light. The MV-4000 underwater spotlight is ideal for deep water applications and is highly customizable with a wide array of component options including housing materials, bulbs, and connectors to meet most underwater lighting requirements.

The patented HPS-1000 high pressure sodium light systems are a revolutionary development in high performance lighting for nuclear reactor vessels and spent fuel pools. These nuclear pool lights have received universal acceptance from all the major fuel manufacturers and has been installed in over 100 nuclear power plants throughout the world.

Underwater Cameras
ROS offers a complete product family of rugged underwater video cameras for oceanographic, military, and nuclear applications. Our full ocean depth cameras include the Inspector, Navigator, and Zoom Navigator. The Navigator low light underwater video cameras provide outstanding low light level sensitivity and is one of our most popular underwater video cameras. The new ROVer miniature underwater video cameras with internal LED lights provides exceptional underwater video quality for such a compact camera.

ROS also provides a full range of radiation tolerant cameras for use in the nuclear industry. The SCE-X shielded video camera will provide more than twice the radiation tolerance as a standard CCD camera like our popular CE-X underwater video cameras. Our high radiation tolerant cameras include the RTC-3 and D40 split head camera with interchangeable viewing heads and lens. The CVS Convertible Viewing System and SC-18 shielded camera system are available for a complete turn-key video inspection system.

Pan & Tilt Units
ROS offers a complete product family of rugged pan and tilts and rotators for both underwater and in-air applications. Our pan and tilts have been field proven in the harshest environments for over 30 years.

Selecting the correct pan and tilt unit depends on the payload weight and output torque required by the application. The PT-5 miniature pan and tilts are good for moving a very light payload (< 5lbs) requiring low output torque. The PT-10 and PT-10-FB pan and tilts provide 10 lb-ft of output torque and will satisfy the requirements for many different applications including positioning RF antennas, cameras with external lights, and sonars. The PT-25 and PT-25-FB pan and tilts are designed to handle heavier payloads (< 100lbs) and are ideal for positioning underwater equipment in high current conditions, antennas in high wind conditions, and heavy duty cameras.

A new and advanced feature available in our family of pan and tilts and rotators is the ability for RS-485 / RS-232 computer control. By either using the ROS positioner GUI (graphical user interface) or the ROS communication protocol for custom software integration you can control unique features such as: real-time position feedback, variable rotation speed, variable braking, goto position command, and networkability of multiple pan and tilts.
